Up until Friday morning I was going to make a card or scrap page about the sunshine, specifically, or maybe even my 'son-shines', my 2 sons... But then I saw that a close friend, who lives in Tasmania needs a different kind of sunshine....
Nicole had spent the last 4 days in hospital with her boy. He was very unwell with a stomach bug of some sort & given our current world, it would have been a very worrying time for her, her husband & his older sister.
It's always so tough when our children can't tell us what is wrong , what pain they are feeling or what happened. Thankfully they are all home now, sleeping in their own beds, (not on a plastic chair) and are finally recovering!
This all being said, onto my card for my mate, Nicole!!
Using the Share Sunshine PDF Download, (which gives various COVID-19 related sentiments), Ive teamed it with the Bird Ballad DSP & Daisy Delight stamp set.
Dont you love how the petals are curved? Ive used the Bone Folder to just gently curve them, to give them some life.
I've also placed a strip of that DSP inside, to give it a lift, otherwise the Whisper White cardstock would look so stark. It was screaming for colour!!
This card just has to cheer Nicole and her family, with all those bright colours, right?
